With the Stadium of Dreams, the host city of Stuttgart is increasing the anticipation for UEFA EURO 2024.

With the Stadium of Dreams, the host city of Stuttgart is increasing the anticipation for UEFA EURO 2024. 18 years after the unforgettable summer fairytale, Stuttgart is once again expecting a major international soccer tournament. Soccer connects and brings people together—in the stadium or at a fan party. The Stadium of Dreams on Stuttgart's Marienplatz will be a special meeting place from May 16 to June 9.

For 24 days, the Stadium of Dreams offers an exciting program of art and culture that makes the love of European soccer visible to all. What will this look like in concrete terms? Thomas Pollak, overall project manager of Host City Stuttgart: "The Stadium of Dreams is a project close to our hearts, because we want to raise the anticipation of the European Championships. Marienplatz in the south of Stuttgart was the location we wanted. A place for everyone that many Stuttgart residents know as one of the liveliest meeting places. From Thursday to Sunday, the Stadium of Dreams will be transformed into a special kind of playground, offering space for numerous musical evenings with concerts and DJs.

Supported by the local cultural scene, a lively program will be presented for every age group. During the day, creative workshops in cooperation with the Stuttgart Adult Education Center will invite you to take part in everything from painting courses to poetry slams and dance workshops. There will also be inclusive offers and sports activities to take part in. In the evening, theater, cinema, and live and DJ music will tempt people to the urban environment. Under the motto "Kickers. Fighters. Legends", there will be a daily exhibition on Jewish soccer stars throughout the event. All offers are free of charge.

The Department of Sport and Exercise, for example, is offering the opportunity to support children in their motor development through a wide variety of exercises in a playful way with the movement pass designed especially for Host City Stuttgart and in cooperation with the Württemberg Football Association. There will also be other sports activities on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 12 noon.

In addition to sporting activities, there will also be something for the mind. "LOKSTOFF!" is theater in public space for everyone. Two inclusive performances on May 16 with sign language interpreters and on June 6 with audio-description will ensure that everyone can enjoy culture.

The Stadium of Dreams in Stuttgart is a place for everyone. A place to linger, exchange ideas, meet, and experience. The specially constructed temporary building was created together with the local architecture firm "Umschichten", which is known for dealing with topics such as upcycling, constellations of people and materials, urban identities, and the representation of different social and cultural groups in a city. The chosen setting on Marienplatz is also symbolic of a young, diverse, and culturally enthusiastic audience. A wide range of restaurants and good connections—the living room of Stuttgart's south.

The project is supported by the EURO 2024 Football and Culture Foundation with funds from the German government. In almost all Host Cities, an eleventh stadium with art and cultural highlights will be built around the European Championships. Each Stadium of Dreams reflects the local characteristics of the corresponding host city. In Stuttgart, backdrops and familiar elements from soccer stadiums create a real EURO atmosphere.
