Stuttgart – The whole city a stadium
From 14 June to 14 July 2024, we welcomed Europe and the world to Stuttgart for UEFA EURO 2024. A total of five matches - four group matches and one quarter-final - were played in the Arena Stuttgart. In the heart of Stuttgart, we celebrated a football festival of joy and enthusiasm with the EURO 2024 FESTIVAL. On Schlossplatz, you could look forward to public viewing as well as many stars and great activities on the match-free days. With sports and children's activities on the market square, cultural events on Karlsplatz and a diverse range of vegan, vegetarian and regional food and drink on Schillerplatz, we turned the whole city into a stadium together with the people of Stuttgart. We gave the European Football Championship the home it deserved: diverse, cosmopolitan, innovative and full of enthusiasm. Thank you for being a part of it!

Positive assessment of the UEFA EURO 2024
True to the motto "The whole city is one stadium", the atmosphere in our Host City Stuttgart was full of excitement for four weeks during the UEFA EURO 2024. A total of almost 900,000 people visited our Fan Zones and the Fan Meeting Points in the city center.

The UEFA EURO 2024 is now complete. Five matches, four preliminary rounds and one quarter-final, were played here, two of which involved the German national team: the preliminary round match against Hungary on June 19, 2024 and the quarter-final against Spain on July 5, 2024. But our host city had so much more to offer: A total of four FAN ZONES, numerous tourist attractions, an inspiring food and bar scene and a welcoming culture with heart. THE UEFA EURO 2024 in Stuttgart was a soccer festival full of joy and enthusiasm, which the citizens of the Stuttgart region and their guests celebrated together across all borders.

Whether public viewing on Schlossplatz, regional food & drinks on Schillerplatz, activities & families on Marktplatz or culture & music on Karlsplatz: with our four fan zones - more than in any other host city - we offered a program for everyone from 14 June to 14 July 2024.
Volunteers
In the thick of it instead of just being there: The host city of Stuttgart was supported by 1600 volunteers in making the UEFA EURO 2024 an unforgettable football festival. The highly motivated volunteers made an important contribution to ensuring that the metropolis on the Neckar presented itself as a colourful, cosmopolitan and friendly venue and turned the entire city into a stadium. Thank you for your commitment!
