Venue the UEFA EURO 2024

Stuttgart Arena

Ultra-modern venue of the UEFA EURO 2024

Germany's sixth largest sports venue has been extensively modernised in time for the European Championships and now meets the highest international standards. Five UEFA EURO 2024 matches will be played at Stuttgart Arena, including at least one match involving the German national team and one quarter-final. On 19 June 2024, the German national team will play its second group match in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg.

The reconstruction of the main stand also included new team dressing rooms, sports function rooms, a high-tech media centre including television studios and a new business area. Some of the converted areas dated back to 1974 and were therefore much older than the other areas of the stadium, which have been gradually modernised in recent years.

New dimension for UEFA EURO 2024

Top infrastructure, unique tunnel club experience

The building designated by UEFA during the UEFA EURO 2024 staging period as Stuttgart Arena has a capacity of 54,272 spectators for international matches without standing room. For VfB Stuttgart's Bundesliga home matches, the stadium has space for 60,058 fans. In the hospitality area, 64 boxes can host around 1,000 guests in total. The media centre has 148 workstations for television, radio, digital and newspaper reporters. The 340 square-metre room for press conferences is also located there. In addition, four reporters' booths and four television studios, each with 40 square metres of space, have been set up.

The business area of the stadium has been redesigned and expanded by around 8,000 square metres. The highlight is the "Tunnel Club" which offers insights into match operations and the teams. From fully glazed rooms, 220 guests can watch the players on their way from the dressing room to the pitch – to date a unique concept in Germany.
