The time has finally come: The kick-off of UEFA EURO 2024 on June 14, 2024, will mark the start of four weeks of football festivities in our host city of Stuttgart. Ninety minutes before kick-off for the opening match between Germany and Scotland at 9 pm, Lord Mayor Dr. Frank Nopper will officially open UEFA EURO 2024, and with it the EURO 2024 FESTIVAL, together with our host city ambassador Cacau and freestyle ball artist Andrew Henderson at the Fan Zone Schlossplatz. "It is a great honor and a pleasure for us to be a host city of UEFA EURO 2024 and the base camp city for the Swiss national soccer team. Under the motto 'United in the heart of Europe', our tremendous enthusiasm for the event will turn the whole city into a stadium," says Lord Mayor Dr. Frank Nopper.

Andreas Kroll, Managing Director of in.Stuttgart Veranstaltungsgesellschaft, announces: "We are offering everyone in our city a huge celebration of football with an outstanding program. There will be something for everyone, so we can all become part of this magnificent football festival. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all participants, stakeholders and the local sponsors with whom we have worked on UEFA EURO 2024 in Stuttgart in a spirit of trust and commitment and who have made the EURO 2024 FESTIVAL possible in the first place." Thomas Pollak, overall project manager of Host City Stuttgart, is also excited about the event: "The years of planning and organization are now reaching their grand finale. A long journey is coming to an end, and we are looking forward to seeing the many ideas and concepts realized. The joy of welcoming everyone to our Fan Zones and building the excitement is indescribable."
