Movement Pass

Special edition for UEFA EURO 2024

Encouraging children to do sport with the Stuttgart Movement Pass –

Sport is fun, and exercise is important and healthy. UEFA EURO 2024 is a really good opportunity to get these messages across to children. After all, UEFA EURO 2024 is not just about the professional footballers, but also about fun for all and the next generation. That's why this year there is a special football edition of the popular Stuttgart Movement Pass for children.

After all, football...

The Movement Pass was introduced in the state capital in 2015 and quickly became a great success. The new football edition also encourages children between the ages of two and seven to enjoy exercise and motivates them to be physically active in a playful way.

  • The Movement Pass offers families, nurseries and sports clubs guidance in promoting physical activity for children.
  • The exercises in the football edition are illustrated with animal motifs, as in the classic Movement Pass, and are designed in such a way that they can be easily adapted to individual abilities.
  • Various exercises with balls are shown.
  • For each successful task, the children receive a sticker featuring Albärt, the official mascot of UEFA EURO 2024.
  • Fun and enjoyment take centre stage. The exercises are deliberately kept simple so that all children can take part.
  • Children who exercise regularly are more balanced and can cope better with everyday life.

The most important information at a glance

The Movement Passes are issued to children via nurseries and clubs. They can also be ordered at bewegungspass@stuttgart.de. Teachers and trainers can take part in a one-day training course on 11 April or 2 May in order to be able to carry out the exercises correctly with children. Registration for this is also possible at bewegungspass@stuttgart.de.

The Movement Pass will be launched on 16 May at the Stadion der Träume, Marienplatz. Nursery schools will also be able to have a go at the Movement Pass exercises there, every Thursday and Friday morning (10 a.m. to 12 noon) during UEFA EURO 2024.
