Pixi book awakens football enthusiasm even in the youngest children

Football knows no age limits – even the youngest children are very interested in this exciting sport. But how do you explain what the European Football Championship is to children of nursery age? How do you awaken their enthusiasm for UEFA EURO 2024 in Stuttgart? The answers are provided by an age-appropriate Pixi book that was published especially for the UEFA EURO 2024 in Stuttgart, called: "Bobbl bei der Fußball-Europameisterschaft in Stuttgart" (Bobbl at the European Football Championships in Stuttgart – Carlsen). The colourful booklet gets the little ones curious about the big football event. And shows them how exciting the UEFA EURO 2024 will be in the host city of Stuttgart.

In the Pixi book, the football experience is portrayed in a child-friendly way through a visit to the Host City Stuttgart on a match day. The football "Bobbl" (Swabian for ball), which the kids have with them, takes centre stage. Together with Bobbl they experience all kinds of adventures related to the game., and get to know children from other countries as well as some of Stuttgart's attractions.

The Pixi book will be available in the run-up to UEFA EURO 2024 and sent to kindergartens and primary schools, for example, and given away at events and exhibitions. You can, of course, also get the little book during the event from 14 June to 14 July in the Stuttgart Fan Zones and in advance at iPunkt in Königstraße 1a.

Bobbl at the European Football Championship in Stuttgart" was developed by the children's media agency "Carlsen K". It produces and distributes "Kids & Family" content marketing for companies and organisations. The book was illustrated by experienced illustrator Angela Glökler and the story was written by children's book author Marja Franke. It was important to both of them that football is portrayed as a unifying element and that topics such as sustainability, diversity and healthy eating are also realised graphically in a way that is suitable for children.
