"Not with us! Safe and strong together." This was the motto of Christopher Street Day in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg on 29 July 2023. The Stuttgart CSD is one of the largest events for the LGBTQIA+ community in Germany, with 131 formations taking part this year.

There with its own float: The Host City Stuttgart of UEFA EURO 2024 was led by ambassador Niko Kappel, the Paralympic gold medallist in shot put, who also won the silver medal at the Para World Championships in Paris in mid-July. The Host City Stuttgart team also received support for the Host City Stuttgart float from the Managing Director of SportRegion, Michael Bofinger, and from sports manager and presenter Jens Zimmermann. DJ Luki Knupfer provided music and a good atmosphere.

"Colourful, diverse and tolerant – we want to set an example for a world without exclusion and prejudice in the run-up to UEFA EURO 2024", said Head Project Manager Thomas Pollak from Host City Stuttgart, who also took part in the CSD demonstration on the float. "With our leitmotif 'United for Stuttgart', we want to promote diversity and togetherness in the city – that's our goal."
