Getting to the Fan Zone Schlossplatz:

In principle, the following applies: Significant visitor numbers are expected in Stuttgart over the

entire period until July 14, 2024. This will also affect traffic. In addition, there may be road closures

on the main roads due to certain situations, which cannot be planned in advance. These will occur

on an ad hoc basis in addition to the existing closures in the city center. The parking garages in the

city center will not be accessible. There are a few parking spaces available outside the "Cityring".

After the matches (regardless of the Host City Stuttgart location), obstructions due to motorcades must be expected. This may result in temporary road closures, especially in the city center. Additional traffic obstructions are then expected.

We therefore strongly recommend that you travel by public transport or bicycle.

The U6 subway line runs every ten minutes from the airport to the "Schlossplatz" station, the

journey takes 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the S2 and S3 commuter rail lines to the

main station. Travel time: 30 minutes.

The U5, U6, U7, U12 and U15 subway lines run from the main station to the "Schlossplatz" stop. The

journey time is two minutes. The walk takes about ten minutes.

In the evening, the band RAHÎ will provide a great atmosphere in the Fan Zone Karlsplatz.

Also worth a visit is the sustainability pavilion at Fan Zone Karlsplatz, which explains the various

areas of sustainability and how they can be implemented in your everyday life, thus contributing to education for sustainable development. And if you need a little break, the chill-out area with its

comfortable seating is the place to be.

Program at the Fan Zone Karlsplatz on July 6 in detail:

12:30-2:30 p.m.: Strange Comedy

Welcome to the uniquely funny and surreal world of the duo Strange Comedy. Shelly Mia Kastner and Jason McPherson play two hapless vaudeville performers trapped in a world where their show props have taken on a life of their own. Muppet-style costumes become uncontrollable and magic tricks go horribly wrong, leading to unforeseen situations as the two clowns try to survive in this cartoon world of disasters. Strange Comedy is best known for its crazy illusions, surprising acrobatics and hilarious and endearing clowning.

2:30-3:30p.m.: Eat the rainbow - climate protection with knife and fork

Answers to the question of the economic efficiency of our food production and our food problem. It also talks about the use of resources and the influence of each individual.

7:00-8:00p.m.: Rahî

"It's not easy to feel at home between two chairs - Man, we stack them and sit on both." This line from the band RAHÎ's song "Xerîbim" sums up their attitude: having grown up as children of two cultures, they take the best of both worlds and form a hybrid identity - nothing else is an option. The same applies to their music - the diverse influences of the individual band members come together to form a style that has never been heard before. Authentic lyrics in German collide with touching, catchy melodies, driven by creative instrumentals. RAHÎ, consisting of the siblings Rager and Hizir as well as the musician and producer Şahin (JAHİN), create all songs on their own in their home studio in Stuttgart.

Getting to the Fan Zone Karlsplatz

The walk from the S-Bahn and U-Bahn station "Stadtmitte" or from the main train station to the

The Safer Space is open every day until July 14, 2024.

The Safer Space staff can also be reached by phone or WhatsApp on +49 173 7826778. In addition, the specially trained Awareness Team of Host City Stuttgart is clearly recognizable with bright blue, branded vests. Those affected can also contact the security service, the volunteers or the German Red Cross (Deutsche Rote Kreuz).
