Now things are really heating up in Stuttgart. On June 16, 2024, Slovenia will face Denmark in the Stuttgart Arena - the first of five UEFA EURO 2024 matches to be played in our host city. But the arena itself is not the only venue for this spectacular soccer event: The whole city is becoming a stadium. All three matches of the day (the others are: Poland - Netherlands and Serbia - England) will be broadcast live in the Fan Zone Schlossplatz. There are also plenty of attractions and highlights throughout the day in the four Fan Zones Schlossplatz, Marktplatz, Karlsplatz and Schillerplatz outside of match times: A Zumba party, a table soccer tournament and lots of gastronomic highlights. All stores in our city center are open this Sunday.

Useful info: All four Fan Zones will be open from noon to midnight on match days during UEFA EURO 2024 (until 11:00 p.m. on non-match days). Admission is free on all days. The full calendar of events can be found on the Host City Stuttgart website (subject to change).

Important traffic information:

The B27 Friedrichstraße will be closed in both directions from 1:00 p.m. for the Fan Walk of the fans of the Danish national team on June 16, 2024. Due to the closures, traffic obstructions are expected in the inner city districts and in Bad Cannstatt.

In the afternoon, driving through Stuttgart via the city center will not possible at all, or only with great difficulty. We therefore strongly advise against driving through the city center on this day. The inner city districts as well as Bad Cannstatt/NeckarPark should be avoided. Those going to the match should drive to the park-and-ride spaces and use public transportation. On match days, local public transport will run at more frequent intervals, with higher capacities and longer operating times.

If you still need to travel by car, it is essential to pay attention to the current traffic reports, the information on the dynamic traffic information signs, and the parking guidance systems.
