After a successful kick-off and the opening match between Germany and Scotland, UEFA EURO 2024 is now getting off to a flying start. Three exciting matches are scheduled for June 15, 2024: Hungary will face Switzerland in Cologne, Spain will take on Croatia in Berlin, and Dortmund will host Italy against Albania. Our Host City Stuttgart broadcasts all matches live in the Schossplatz Fan Zone – with a stadium-like atmosphere. Throughout the day, all four Fan Zones – Schlossplatz, Marktplatz, Karlsplatz and Schillerplatz – will once again feature a varied program of events, including artists Chris Blessing and Racun & Azoe, a fan match between the Danish supporters, and plenty of gastronomic highlights.
Useful info: All of our four Fan Zones will be open from 12 noon until midnight on match days during UEFA EURO 2024 (until 11 p.m. on non-match days). Admission is free on all days. The full calendar of events can be found on the Host City Stuttgart website (subject to change).

SCHLOSSPLATZ FAN ZONE :
The Schlossplatz Fan Zone invites you all to enjoy public viewings together throughout UEFA EURO 2024. All matches of the European Football Championship will be broadcast live on a big screen. In front of our unique city backdrop and together with fans from all over the world, a stadium-like atmosphere is guaranteed. The fans on Schlossplatz will be getting into the mood for today's EURO day from midday with the SWR DJs. There are also various fan activities to make the time until kick-off fly by. And there are 15 restaurants and cafés offering a wide range of culinary delights.

3:00 p.m.: Live broadcast of the match Hungary vs. Switzerland

Particularly eye-catching and recommended as a photo hotspot: The Rosenrondell (or rose traffic circle) on Königstrasse is planted in the shape of the EURO Cup.

In principle, the following applies: Significant visitor numbers are expected in Stuttgart over the entire period until July 14, 2024. This will also affect traffic. In addition, there may be road closures on the main roads due to certain situations, which cannot be planned in advance. These will occur on an ad hoc basis in addition to the existing closures in the city center.
The parking garages in the city center will not be accessible. There are a few parking spaces available outside the "Cityring".
After the matches (regardless of our Host City Stuttgart venue), obstructions due to motorcades must be expected. This may result in temporary road closures, especially in the city center. Additional traffic obstructions are then expected.
It is therefore strongly recommended that you travel by public transport or bicycle.
The U6 subway line runs every ten minutes from the airport to the "Schlossplatz" station, the journey takes 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the S2 and S3 commuter rail lines to the main station. Travel time: 30 minutes.
The U5, U6, U7, U12 and U15 subway lines run from the main station to the "Schlossplatz" stop. The journey time is two minutes. The walk takes about ten minutes.
MARKTPLATZ FAN ZONE
The Marktplatz Fan Zone is once again becoming a sporting venue. If you like kicking the ball around or love gaming, this is the place for you. Tournaments, fan matches and other sporting activities will take place on the soccer court. Fans can also drop by for a spontaneous match. There are also two gaming areas where you can play for all you're worth. One of the highlights: On June 15, the first UEFA EURO 2024 fan match will kick off on the soccer court at 12 noon, with Denmark playing against FSV Waldebene Ost.

- 12:00 noon.-2:00 p.m.: Fan match on the soccer court: Denmark
- All day: Playing in the gaming areas. In the outdoor gaming area, you can try out various equipment, such as a Teqball table and the SUTU ball wall. In the indoor gaming area there is a tabletop soccer table, a Bolzbox (or football box), and you can play EA Sports FC. In the Creator Studio, pictures can be created that provide reminders of an unforgettable fan day in our Host City Stuttgart.
Special eye-catcher: The oversized soccer player and the large façade painting. There is also a social wall on the Marktplatz where unique fan impressions can be seen, which will be published on social media using the hashtag #hostcitystuttgart.

KARLSPLATZ FAN ZONE
The program of the Karlsplatz Fan Zone revolves around culture and music. Two cool acts will be performing on the Kulturbühne on June 15, 2024: The juggling Stuttgart show artist, Chris Blessing, will entertain the fans with a mix of cabaret, clownish jokes and comedy. You can also look forward to a varied mix of clowning and juggling from the artistic duo Racun & Azoe. Also worth a visit is the sustainability pavilion there, which explains the various areas of sustainability and how they can be implemented in everyday life, thus contributing to education for sustainable development. And if you need a little break, the chill-out area with its comfortable seating is the place to be.

Safer Space in the Karlsplatz Fan Zone
A Safer Space in the form of an office container will be set up in the Fan Zone Karlsplatz during UEFA EURO 2024. Here, people affected by discriminatory behavior can find help and support from trained specialists.
The Safer Space is open every day until July 14, 2024.

- on non-match days from 1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

In addition, the specially trained Awareness Team of our Host City Stuttgart is clearly recognizable with bright blue, branded vests. FAN ZONE SCHILLERPLATZ
If you're cheering on the UEFA EURO 2024 teams and getting excited during the matches, you're going to need a pick-me-up at some point. These are available at the Fan Zone Schillerplatz – the highlight for anyone who enjoys good food and refreshing drinks. There is something for every taste here: from typical Swabian specialties and other delicacies from the region to a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

- 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.: Legendary goals and spectacular scenes from the soccer history of the nations that will be competing in Stuttgart are on display in the exhibition "EURO Legends Stuttgart" at the "StadtPalais – Museum for Stuttgart" until July 14, 2024. - 4:00-5:00 p.m.: The tour "Polizei und Verfolgung im NS (Police and Persecution under National Socialism)" offers moving insights into the past as part of the DFB Cultural Foundation's "Fußball und Erinnerung (Football and Remembrance)" project. Another eye-catcher: One of the largest works of graffiti art in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg can be seen on the outer façade of the Talstrasse substation, diagonally opposite the Stuttgart Gaskessel.
